WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES THE COURT ACCEPT?
    • Conroe Municipal Court accepts cash, checks and money orders at the clerk window
    • Personal checks are NOT accepted for cases with outstanding warrant status.

HOW DO I GET EXCUSED FROM JURY SERVICE?
You may file your exemption from jury service in person at the clerk window or by mail by filling out the jury notice you received and returning it to the court.
IF I PAY MY CITATION BEFORE MY APPEARANCE DATE, DO I STILL NEED TO APPEAR?
If you resolved you case(s) prior to your appearance date, you do not need to appear. It is your responsibility to confirm that you have properly disposed of your case.
IF I HAVE WARRANT, WILL I BE ARRESETED WHEN I COME IN COURT?
The Conroe Municipal Court is considered a "Safe Harbor", and no defendant will be arrested due to outstanding warrant(s) when they appear before the court. 
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR GOING TO COURT?
Proper attire must be worn for courtroom appearances, e.g. no clothing indicating gang affiliation or showing offensive, vulgar, racist or obscene language is allowed.  Underwear must not be exposed.  Please remove hats, caps, and sunglasses not required by a prescription etc. before entering the courtroom.  An exception is any headwear that is of religious significance.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE MY PAYMENT BY THE DUE DATE?
If you know you will not be able to make your payment by the due date, you must contact the court to see what options you have. 
HOW CAN I HAVE A CITATION FOR FAIL TO MAINTAIN FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (NO INSURANCE) DISMISSED?
To have your citation dismissed you will need to provide proof that the vehicle was covered at the date/time the citation was issued. If you didn't have insurance when the citation was issued, you may contact the court at 936-522-3380 to speak to a clerk for explore your options.
