Departmental Responsibilities

The City Secretary attends all Regular and Special Council Meetings and Workshops and prepares, post and maintains agendas and minutes for the City Council.

The City Secretary serves as the Records Retention Officer and assist departments with Record Retention. 

The City Secretary handles all requests for public information. Learn about the public information act and the process for requesting public records.

The City Secretary's office coordinates all City Elections. 

The City Secretary acts as custodian of records and maintains the City Ordinances, Contracts, Agreements, Deeds, Easements, and Resolutions.
