Tropical Storm Beryl Press conference

As the effects of Tropical Storm Beryl begin, we want to share a few updates and information from the city. The City of Conroe is prepared and more than capable of meeting this challenge. Mayor Coon, city council members, and city officials are in our Emergency Operations Center and keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Beryl.
  • City Offices will also be closed on Monday except for essential personnel.
  • There will be no Trash Service on Monday. Your regular trash collection will be pushed back one day. Monday service will be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday service will be collected on Wednesday, and so on.
  • Parks and Recreation Facilities and programs will be closed Monday as well.
  • City Transportation buses will continue to run until conditions become unsafe. We will provide updates to this if the situation changes.
We recommend staying off the roads unless it's an emergency. If you encounter flooded areas and roads, remember -- Turn Around, Don't Drown.

We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.
