Payment & Contacting Us:

Our knowledgeable and courteous staff is available Monday - Thursday from 7: 30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday form 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist you with water and garbage account payments and provide information. The Utility Billing Department is located on the first floor of City Hall in the Conroe Tower, 300 W. Davis Street in Conroe, Texas. The Conroe Tower is in the downtown area northwest of the Montgomery County Courthouse. Parking is available on Thompson Street, Phillips Street or in the parking lot on the north side of Phillips Street. The City accepts cash, check, money orders by walk-in or mail. Any payments  received after office hours will be processed on the next business day.

Pay your bill online! Credit card payments are accepted only through our online payment center. The online payment application will be located on the City website under the "Online Services" link.  Please note that all credit card transactions made online will be assessed a convenience fee. Any payment received after office hours will be processed on the next business day.

Remote Payment Locations:

Remote payment locations have 2-3 day processing time frame.

Fiesta Fresh Market: Service fee $2.00 per transaction. Located at 210 E Davis (936-760-0340). Store booth hours: Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm, Sunday 10am-6pm. Contact store for payment details.

HEB: Service fee $2.00 per transaction. Located at 2108 N Frazier St (936-756-1430) and 3875 W Davis St (936-760-6800). Contact store for booth hours of operation and payment details.

Kroger: Service fee $2.00 per transaction. Located at 2222 I-45 N (936-441-7333), 220 S Loop 336 W (936-756-5533), and 3830 W Davis St. (936-756-7220).

Wal-Mart: Service fee $1.50 per transaction. Located at 1407 N Loop 336 W (936-788-5400).

Payment Kiosk:

City Hall has a touch screen Payment Kiosk  on the Thompson Street entrance for water bill payments available 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Kiosk accepts cash, check or credit card payments. All credit card payments will be charged a convenience fee. All payments are posted in real time.

Bank Draft:

Many of our customers enjoy the convenience of paying by bank draft. With this program, your payment is automatically deducted on the due date from your bank account each month. We will send you a copy of your bill each month so that you will know how much will be drafted and when it will occur. The City of Conroe Utility Billing Department has a Disability Discount Program that grants disabled customers to be exempt from late penalties.

 TO BE ELIGIBLE:

  • Must be disabled
  • Must be a City of Conroe residential water and/or sewer customer
  • Must receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) from Social Security Administration
  • Must not be enrolled in City of Conroe pre-authorized electronic payment plan

The City of Conroe Utility Billing Department has a Senior Citizen Discount Program that offers residential customers sixty-five (65) years of age and older to be exempt from late penalties.

TO BE ELIGIBLE:

  • Must be sixty-five (65) years of age or older
  • Must be a City of Conroe residential customer
  • Must not be enrolled in City of Conroe pre-authorized electronic payment plan
