Flood Damage Information Requested:

If your home or business is located within the City of Conroe limits and has sustained flood damage as a result of the recent rain, please contact the Office of Emergency Management at (936)522-3600 or via email at stormassistance@cityofconroe.org. Please include your name, address, phone number and a description of your damage.



Storm Debris Removal:

The Public Works Department will pick up storm debris from flooded homes from the approved list given by Community Development. If your home has been flooded you must report it to Community Development at 936-522-3600 in order for it to be authorized for pick up.

Setting up a water account with the City of Conroe is easy and convenient. Just follow these three steps:

Step 1. Call the city's Utility Billing Department at (936) 522-3170 to determine if the address is within the city's service area. There are several water districts and water corporations in the Conroe area and it is possible that you may need to contact some other entity about water service for your address.

Step 2. Complete an account application form and a service agreement form. We can't begin service until we have a completed copy of both forms. A copy of the forms may be found here. Spanish version here.

Step 3. Send the form in with a payment that will cover $15 account establishment fee and the appropriate deposit. The minimum deposit for a residential account is $75 and $100 for commercial accounts with a meter size of 1" or less. Commercial accounts with a meter size larger than 1" need to call the Utility Billing Department to get the correct deposit amount.

To receive your bill by e-mail, go the Online Services link on the City's homepage. Select the E-bill application form and return to the Utility Billing Department.

If you are mailing the form, please include a check made payable to the City of Conroe or a money order. Please do not send cash in the mail.

We recommend that you request service at least 24 hours before you need it. We can, however, handle a same day request that we receive before 3:00 p.m. CST.
