Harry HardmanOriginally from El Paso, Texas, Harry Hardman, and his wife Paula moved to Houston in 1991, became property owners in Montgomery County in 1998, and became fulltime residents of Conroe in 2004. They have been blessed with two married children, their spouses, and two grandchildren they love to spoil.

 Mr. Hardman has enjoyed a very successful career in technology, having held several key sales leadership positions with global companies such as Nortel Networks, Foundry Networks, Brocade Communications and SalesTalk Technologies. He is currently Vice President of Sales for High Wire Networks, a technology services company.

Mr. Hardman has always been very active and interested in water issues in Texas, having served on several MUD boards for almost two decades prior to serving as past President of the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District, where he was serving his second term prior to joining Council. Mr. Hardman has been a member of the Advisory Board at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University for the past 20 years and looks forward to helping recruit future graduates to Conroe.

Mr. Hardman is also very active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he has served as past Chair of the Pastoral Council and co-Director for the Men’s ACTs retreat. He is also a Eucharistic Minister, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, and a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.

 Mr. Hardman’s top priorities for the City of Conroe are:

  • Working to restore affordable water rates.
  • Focusing on strategic, sustainable growth by investing in projects that will create the most value for Conroe.
  • Working to preserve the natural beauty of Conroe.
  • Ensuring the safety of our first responders and our citizens.
  • Maintaining fiscal prudence and transparency and making all votes based on sound fiscal policy
