Flood Damage Information Requested:

If your home or business is located within the City of Conroe limits and has sustained flood damage as a result of the recent rain, please contact the Office of Emergency Management at (936)522-3600 or via email at Please include your name, address, phone number and a description of your damage.

Storm Debris Removal:

The Public Works Department will pick up storm debris from flooded homes from the approved list given by Community Development. If your home has been flooded you must report it to Community Development at 936-522-3600 in order for it to be authorized for pick up.

Flooding Imminent In some Areas

Record levels of water are being released from Lake Conroe Dam. Flooding imminent in some areas.  The City of Conroe will be evacuating McDade Estates.  Other neighborhoods will be evacuated by the County.

Continued flooding is expected throughout the week.  Heavy rains and rising water levels continue to occur around the City of Conroe and surrounding region.   Any areas that may be affected should take action immediately and find a safe location.  A flash flood warning is in effect for residents of Conroe. 

Public Safety Officials have been overwhelmed by the number of calls and are currently prioritizing calls as they come in.  Many roads are closed or experiencing high water and city crews are working diligently to clear the roadways for emergency personnel.  If you are not evacuating, the City of Conroe is encouraging Citizens to stay where they are until it is safe to leave.

Notice: for those areas that are affected by the release of water from the Lake Conroe Dam please be advised to monitor for the updated release amount.
